Enjoy activities for kids on Earth Day

For any environmentalist parent, that is a win-win situation. But for kids to truly appreciate the fun that can be had on Earth Day (April 22), it helps if mom and dad understand where Earth Day comes from and what it's about.

Here are a few pictures from the City of West Richland Annual Earth Day Event - City Wide Clean Free Clean Up Day!

We had over 550 customers/loads totally 90 tons of garbage collected. We also had a total of 179 customers bring their hazardous waste material to be properly disposed of.

This year we celebrated the 40^th anniversary of National Earth Day with community cleanup and restoration projects, learning experiences, hikes, wild flower walks, electric car races, can recycling contest, family movie nights and MORE!
