2011 Electrathon Car Rally will be held Saturday April 23rd at Columbia Basin College, 2600 N. 20th Avenue Pasco WA.

Pasco High School, Connell High School and other local teams will compete with the best electrathon teams from the Northwest. The 1/4+ mile closed course has tight turns and wide open straights!

Area owners and dealers of alternative energy vehicles of all kinds are encouraged to attend and display their rides! Come see what’s new, local or just passing through!

TREK Traveling Renewable Energy Kiosk
TREK has a new look and will be displayed at the Sustainable Energy and Environmental (SEE) Expo. TREK is a traveling display built by Franklin PUD with help from Bonneville Power Administration and local vendors. The first RV with a ductless heat pump? Maybe! TREK represents a grid connected alternative energy home with solar electric, wind generation and a battery storage system. TREK has active solar air and water heating systems with a 12V solar powered swamp cooler replacing the standard 110 volt system.
TREK is filled with many active and hands on displays making it a traveling Alternative Energy and Energy Efficiency Expo all in itself.

Schedule:
7:00 - 8:30 - Track Set up
9:00 - 10:30 - Registration & Inspections, track open for testing
11:00 - 12:00 - 1st heat: high school teams
12:00 - 12:30 - Scoring and track reset
12:30 - 1:30 - 2nd heat: open class & more experienced high school teams (please, no new drivers)
1:30 - 2:00 - Scoring, prize drawings and awards
