"Building a Better Community Through Environmental Education, Volunteerism, and Stewardship"
Hundreds of millions of people, businesses and governments around the world unite each year to support the largest environmental event in history – Earth Hour.
They say, pluck a flower and you shake a star. What you do is simple - turn out your lights - ALL OF THEM -- for one hour. And ask others to do the same.
We may not shake a star, but we certainly may be able to view the heavens more clearly, and perhaps appreciate our role in the universe. During the hour, you can commit to lasting action for the planet.
Sharefest 2012 (Clean-up project) - Activities include group projects that improve our community. They can include public property, non-profit organizations or the yards of senior or disabled citizens in need.
To request assistance for yourself or someone you know, download the Sharefest Yard Request Form.
